The Joffrey Ballet of Chicago
Moving from its long-time home in New York City to Chicago was one of the major challenges that the Joffrey Ballet has faced. Penelope Cagney helped them to develop a local presence through the media, but also helped to keep them in the national eye. For example: Worked with a local affiliate of NBC to promote the development of a new ballet on the most widely watched national news program, Tom Brokaw’s NBC Nightly News.
